Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 July 2026

ZeroServer.tools is built privacy-first. Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser — the text, files, and images you paste or upload are processed locally on your device and are never sent to, stored on, or seen by any server. There is no backend, no account, and no upload step.

Information we do — and don't — collect

  • Your tool inputs: Never collected. All processing is client-side; your data does not leave your browser.
  • Local storage:We save preferences (theme, recently-used and pinned tools) in your browser's localStorage. It stays on your device and is never transmitted; clearing your browser storage removes it.
  • Analytics: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and cookieless — it records aggregate, anonymous traffic (page views, referrers, country) with no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting, and no personal data.

Cookies

The site itself sets no tracking cookies. Cookies may be introduced only by third-party advertising, described below, and — for visitors in the EEA/UK — only after you consent.

Advertising

To keep ZeroServer.tools free, we may display advertising:

  • Google AdSense. This site may serve ads via Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings, opt out of third-party vendor cookies via aboutads.info, and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. For EEA/UK visitors, ad personalization is governed by a consent prompt.
  • Direct sponsorships. Sponsor placements (see Advertise) are a static image and link served from our own CDN — no cookies, no scripts, and no third-party tracking.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for this site is Meet Shah, contactable at [email protected] or via the contact page. Where advertising is shown, Google acts as an independent controller for the advertising data it collects; its handling is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Legal basis (UK/EU GDPR)

  • Advertising cookies — consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Nothing is set until you accept, and you may withdraw at any time using the control below, which is as easy as granting it was.
  • Cookieless analytics — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): understanding aggregate traffic to keep the site running. No cookies, no fingerprinting, and no data that identifies you.
  • Your tool inputs — no legal basis needed, because we never receive them. They are processed on your device only.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, EU, or another region with comparable law, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, and port your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. There is an important practical point here: because tools run entirely in your browser, we hold no personal data about you to disclose, correct, or delete — an access request to us would return nothing, since there is nothing to return.

Requests concerning advertising data go to Google, which holds it. Use My Ad Center to inspect and control it. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority — in the UK, the ICO.

US state privacy rights (California and others)

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, serving personalised ads involves sharing identifiers with Google for cross-context behavioural advertising, which California's CPRA treats as “sharing”. Declining consent — or using the control below — opts you out of that entirely and is our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information mechanism. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where your browser sends them. We do not knowingly process sensitive personal information, and we never discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

International transfers and retention

Your tool data is transferred nowhere, because it never leaves your device. Advertising data, where you have consented, may be processed by Google outside your country under its own safeguards and retention schedules. Aggregate analytics carry no identifier and are retained only in aggregate form.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links: if you buy a product or service through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. They are marked rel="sponsored" and never change what you pay.

Third-party links

This site links to external websites we don't control. Their privacy practices are their own — please review their policies.

Children's privacy

ZeroServer.tools is a general-audience developer utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

  • Change your advertising consent at any time — this reopens the choice and applies immediately:
  • Opt out of personalized ads using the links under Advertising above.
  • Clear this site's localStorage to remove saved preferences.
  • Use your browser's privacy and cookie controls at any time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves (for example, when advertising is enabled). Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
